Can we take a motorhome abroad? Yes we do allow our motorhomes to be taken abroad. Hirers travelling abroad will require a minimum of Continental comprehensive insurance and green card cover which will be supplied by Celtic Journeys at an additional cost to the hirer, see our tariffs for costs.Yes we do allow our motorhomes to be taken abroad.

How many drivers are permitted? The price covers one named driver, additional drivers may be added at an nominal additional charges. All drivers must meet the requirements as listed in our terms and conditions.You have to return the motorhome between 09:00 and 11:00 hrs on the last day of the hire period, unless otherwise pre arranged.
When and where can I collect the motorhome? Our motorhomes are available for hire all year round. We recommend you book well in advance, particularly during busy periods. The motorhomes are available for collection at our depot on the Ferndown Industrial Estate between 3.30pm and 6pm. Weekly rentals start on Fridays or Saturdays subject to availability. It must be returned between 8:30am and 11am at the end of the hire period. This ensures the motorhome is available for the next hire.The Damage Deposit is the sum you deposit with us over and above the hire charge, This acts as an insurance excess during your hire. This is fully returnable provided the vehicle is returned undamaged, clean and with empty waste tanks. In the event of an insurance claim for damage to the hire vehicle, or a claim from a 3rd party (where you are held to be at fault), the cost of the damage or claim will be deducted from your deposit.Hires are charged per calendar day.

Can we smoke in the vehicle? We operate a no smoking policy to maintain the freshness of the vehicle for the benefit of all our clients. Curtains and upholstery cost in excess of ??60 to dry clean, and we reserve the right to pass on this charge if hirers smoke in the vehicle.One week, from Sat. to Sat. or Sun. to Sun. We can be more flexible** on start and return days out with the main tourist season.

Why do I have to pay a 750 damage deposit? This is the deposit taken for any damage caused to the motorhome during the hire period, this is fully refundable at the end of the hire period as long as the vehicle is returned undamaged, reasonably clean, with the waste water tank empty, and the toilet tank flushed and empty.One-way rentals are available between all branch locations. The one-way fee if applicable is charged per hire. A one-way rental fee of NZ$150 is charged for rentals between the North and South Islands and vice versa, where pick-up is between:Absolutely not! A current and full motor vehicle drivers licence is required and must be produced upon vehicle collection.

What's included in a Maui Motorhome? Maui Motorhomes feature a gas stove, fridge and even a toilet, shower and microwave in most models. We supply kitchen equipment including plates, bowls, cups, glasses, knives, forks, spoons, bottle/can opener, mixing bowls, saucepans, frying pans, cooking utensils, chopping board, kettle, teapot, coffee plunger, toaster and tea towel.All our motorhomes are covered by comprehensive motoring insurance, which covers the UK. Additional cover can be arranged for Europe at an extra cost. It does not cover your personal items, and we recommend that personal insurance be considered to fully protect yourself.
